What do you play?

Post  NightReaper on Thu Sep 16, 2010 9:18 am

I play guitar, bass, keys and I sing Smile

My main guitar is a Jackson Dinky MG and my backup guitar is a BC Rich Warlock Plat Pro

My only bass is an Ibanez something or other Razz

My keys are some 200 quid casio thing. It's the model you find in a lot of high schools so it seems

And singing comes from my vocal chords

What do you guys play and what equipment you got? Smile

I played recorder too. I somehow managed to forget all the sight reading parts when I picked up a guitar. xD
I'm studying music technology for A-Level and Cubase is a honestly un-reliable program.

That's cool man. I'm studying music tech and audio systems at Huddersfield Uni. About to start my second year. We were forced to use Cubase and will most likely again this year. It's really annoying to be honest. Well at least we get use pro tools next year for recording. And I can't wait for my placement year. I'm wanting to do it abroad like New Zealand or Finland. Somewhere like that Very Happy

Nope, a mate gave it to me for free. Its quite a basic one, plain red finish and it doesnt have the horn like headstock.

The horn like headstock is no longer used so it sounds like a newish guitar to me. If you do want the horn type headstocks then it's gone with the designer of them. Moser. You should check out Moser guitars. They're pretty sweet if you like Bc Rich's earlier designs since he more than likely designed them Smile

^ thanking you! Erm well I have played a bit of electric guitar but as far as my acoustic guitar goes it's my newest instrument on the list, I've played classical instruments longer really. I'm sure one day I will but until I get good at acoustic guitar and even better at bass I won't...haha

I used to play drums... long time ago now. Had to sell my drumkit, haven't played since other than a mate's practice kit.

Some friends of mine have been jamming at a place on Denmark Street and said I could join. The place has it's own kit apparently. They're more into indie music, but it might be good just to see if I can still play.
